Laurel holds an ARCT in Vocal Performance and has been teaching private Voice, Piano
and Theory for 28 years. Laurel is a past winner of the Tudor Bowl – Winnipeg Music Festival, and is a recipient of the MRMTA scholarship for singing, as well as a chorus member for Gilbert and Sullivan Productions. She founded and was the Musical Director of On Stage Community Theatre for 8 years, loving all aspects of putting together a musical production.

Laurel has trained award winning students in Royal Conservatory Exams and the Winnipeg Music Festival Competitions. She loves working with students of all ages to explore and encourage abilities and the love of music!
